For many summers KUTU would come and stay with Sioban. She was a big powerful dog - a beautiful creature who expected respect but would only (appear to) offer aloofness in return.

The calculating chill of the hunter lay just beneath the surface, belying a huge heart and a dry sense of humour - she was known to break into a broad grin at the unexpected sight of old friends - not always something you might expect from a dog ... much less a Weimaraner.
